Join us for Humanities Works: four Penn faculty from the School of Arts and Sciences will present lightning talks using a single slide that captures the materials and concepts of their current research. An opportunity for humanists to share the ideas and questions that drive their work, this will be an evening of quick, lively presentations, followed by a reception and the option to tour the Arthur Ross Gallery’s current exhibition, Collecting the New Irascibles: Art in the 1980s, led by Gwendolyn DuBois Shaw, Inaugural Faculty Director of the gallery and the James and Nan Wagner Farquhar Professor of History of Art.
