The History of Art Department serves as a hub that links together conversations about the evolving history of images and material culture across the campus. As an outward facing department, we frequently collaborate with faculty and students in these and other departments at Penn, and our courses provide an opportunity for artists, architects, humanists, social scientists and others to think together about the dynamic and global history of art.
